This belief is perpetuated by universities, LGBT charities, and even the UN. You may ask, "what's the problem? Isn't this just being inclusive?", but the reality is this takes away language used by same sex attracted people to describe their experiences, and, as this page (and entire site) demonstrates, gives "progressives" a social and legal license to discriminate against same sex attracted people. Some even believe that it's "transphobic" to assert that homosexuality is same sex attraction.
